This week show brings a fun and interesting challenge. A long time listener, who we’re calling Bob, sent in some material. But instead of offering corrections, this week Taylor just points out what can be corrected, it’s up to us to make the corrections.
Bob’s material is very good as either flash fiction or as the start of something longer. (Steve hopes it’s the start of something longer because he wants to read more. Taylor probably does as well, but as we all know she doesn’t write these show notes 😉 )
You can download an MS Word version of the document here, with Taylor’s suggestions for what needs to be improved and why.
Download Bob’s story with Taylor’s notes here.
(Note – Taylor’s notes are only viewable in the Word Document itself, not through Google Docs)
You don’t need to send in the homework, but it will be an interesting challenge to do the work as a writing exercise. Then we can compare notes next week.
Thanks so much for joining us again this week!

Starting a sentence with a preposition? Taylor you have to say more about that, please.
I’ve started removing them from my story, but I don’t know why I’m doing it.
Thanks,
Pete

Thanks, Peter. I’ll ask her for more in two weeks. (We’ve already recorded next weeks show.)
