I don’t consult experts, I do a lot of reading on the Internet because I’m not trying to teach somebody how to pick a lock. I need to know just enough about it to make sure that I’m not saying something stupid and then move on, because otherwise it turns into The Anarchist Cookbook or something.
In this week’s episode, Taylor responds to listener questions regarding research and searching out experts and what an author should do to prepare himself to write in a different genre. We discuss things like writing to market, Taylor’s research into Blackphones and her growing love of video as a teaching tool.
